Ahlviks Udd
is our own conference and training centre in the Stockholm archipelago.
Here we can offer every comfort and
convenience in pleasant solitude, yet only an hour or so from the bustle
of Stockholm city life. Our guests stay in the main building or in
one
of our two totally renovated annexes and they have the exclusive use
of the whole headland with a private beach,
their
own small island with a boathouse and a sauna.
This is a place where we only book one group at a time.
The environment is ageless with a discreet
hint of life in the archipelago. There are
Beautiful drawing rooms and tiled stoves, a unique collection of
literature about the archipelago and carefully chosen art with a
maritime theme. Naturally you will also have available every aid in
modern technology necessary for a successful course or conference.
Svenskt Ledarskap organises regular
Talks, Seminars and Leadership Training Courses here that cater for
all levels of company management, from the top executive management
group to the section and project management level; Management
Development, Communication Training, Team Building, Change Management,
Stress Management, Coaching, Project Management and Successful
Leadership. The
lunch
seminars, where writers, musicians and artists reflect on leadership
with new perspectives and points of view, are particularly appreciated.
”Instead of the Christmas buffet …” is an annual activity each December
that fills our restaurant and drawing room.
Meals, for which we are highly praised, are
served in
the large drawing room which, with its large windows providing
splendid views of the sea, offers an ever changing spectacle.
In
our boat house there is also a wood-fired sauna if you require some
pleasant relaxation from work. If you would like to look at the
surrounding area we can recommend taking a canoe trip from the cove, a
walk to Svartsö Jetty or perhaps a leisurely cycle ride along the small
gravel roads.
Ahlsviks Udd is a modern Conference and
Training Centre with a
historical
background. In 1876 Erik Olof Södergren erected a large new building
beside his farm at Ahlsvik and in 1908 started a boarding house business
that became so successful that an extension was added in 1923 that was
modelled on the estate of a County Sherrif from Värmland.
The arrangement of the houses, rich history
and fine atmosphere, together with
the
breathtaking view over Träskö Bay create a stimulating environment
for creative and improved meetings.
We arrange your transport by chartered boat
from Stockholm/Värmdö to our private jetty. If you prefer to use your
own boat there are some sheltered berths at our jetty. In the winter
when the sea is frozen we collect you by
hovercraft from the mainland at Värmdö or Ljusterö. |
